Residents from A New Way of Life Reentry Project
As part of ABC’s Multilingual Narrative Change campaign, we produced a short film centering multilingual professionals across industries and languages—including Spanish, English, Portuguese, Mandarin, Armenian, ASL, Akateko, Zapoteco, Russian, and more—challenging dominant narratives that frame language as a limitation.
Designed for digital and social platforms, the film was integrated into educator and community toolkits and amplified by 35 partner organizations across Los Angeles County, allowing the story to move through classrooms, organizing spaces, and advocacy efforts. The full video is available here.
